Here's a Fantastic Example of a Buggy Rifle Made by Nathaniel Whitmore of Mansfield, Mass. ! 32 cal . Barrel measures 24" . There are only few of these Buggy Rifles that where made by Nathaniel Whitmore . One made for General Grant , one we know was made for President McKinley and this one was made for a higher up in the Mason Organization! Highly decorated with Silver engraved Animals and one larger oval plaque showing a Coat of Arms or Family Crest . Mother of Pearl , Horn , Bone , Silver Accents and Walrus Ivory Grips . Metal has all of its original Nickel Finish Still Remaining with some lite even loss . And handling marks. Comes with original Whitmore Sights ! Detachable stock is made of a American Walnut! The Stock mounts solidly to the butt of the gun with a circular wheel-style nut, and all the components lock up tightly and the Arm functions well as designed! Gun came out of the Peter Tully Collection ! This is A Amazing American Arm ! The Pinnacle of Art meeting Function . A Quality Made Arm neatly Embellished for its Owner .
