Listing description
Up for sale is a classic Springfield Armory 1911-A1 manufactured in 1988, upgraded with a quality Ed Brown match barrel. This is a great combination for collectors or shooters who want the vintage Springfield frame and slide with a precision aftermarket barrel known for excellent fit and accuracy. The recoil spring has been replaced by a nighthawk 18lb spring but the original recoil spring is also included.
Cosmetic & Mechanical Condition
• Overall condition: Good condtion with some wear and tear from being fired quite a bit but not abused.
• Slide & Frame: Minor scratches and dings but no major damage. Finish is overall in good shape.
• Barrel: Ed Brown stainless match barrel — excellent fit and crown; bright bore.
• Grips: Orignal wood grips with checkering. Will show some wear.
• Function: Cycles, locks up properly, and operates as intended.
Upgrades / Notes
• Ed Brown match barrel — improved accuracy and excellent lockup.
• Trigger is very light and crisp measuring at 3lb pull.
• Slide to frame fit is very tight
