Manufactured by Imperial Knife Co., paired with an original, 1969-70, TWB M8A1 scabbard, complete with black painted canvas hanger and reinforced steel toe. The bayonet features a parkerized 6 5/8" blade, untouched and factory edged, with the USM4, flaming bomb and Imperial Co. maker’s mark stamped on the cross guard. The pommel is marked "SP" (Standard Products Co.) and lot number "120", indicating it was heat-treated by Standard Products. The leather grip and plastic spacers are in well used, very good condition, with tightly stacked washers. The M8A1 scabbard, made by The TWB (The Working Blind) Home, manufacturer’s mark, retains its original finish, with the US markings crisp and legible, and thebelt loop and strap button still functional. It is interesting that this bayonet could have served in three wars.; Price: $269.00 |
