Description:
An incredible and very early Leman western trade rifle.  This is the best example I have seen of one of the earliest full stock trade rifles Leman made.  Its famous "ghost" patch box is expertly engraved with the patch box release button located at the bottom of the butt stock (also engraved).  The level of detail and craftsmanship in the rifle makes it unique and magnificent.  It wooden stock is in very excellent condition with a rich and honest aged brown hue - far beyond most trade rifles.  The lock is marked Leman over Lancaster, PA has been converted to percussion from the original flint and has double set triggers.

This is the best condition Leman trade gun I have ever seen!
