33112- MEXICAN WAR ASA WATERS U.S. MODEL 1836 PERCUSSION CONVERSION .54 CAL. SINGLE SHOT PISTOL DATED 1844. 14” o/a with 8 ½” smoothbore barrel proofed clearly at left breech “J H/P”. Lock plate stamped “EAGLE HEAD/A. H. WATERS & CO./MILBURY MASS/1844. Stock stamped on side panel with two minty Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches one being that of the famous William A. Thornton. Very good overall and all original Metal with crisp grey patina. Minor salt and pepper on barrel. Stock with the original finish with some cross hatching carved on grip. Working order and good bore. $675.
