Description:
Good shape with careful hunting use- used but not abused - likely has a lot of deer under it's belt. Action is as smooth as can be and locks up tight. Bright and shiny bore- rear sight is a Marbles but the rest of the gun is right - sling swivels are added. This gun shoots extremely well and likes the 255gr lead bullets designed for the 38-55. 38-55 cases need to be trimmed 1/10 inch. Of course the factory jacketed bullets of .375 are what it was designed for. Most of the factory bluing remains and is worn on the receiver bottom on the sharp edges. Wood is solid with no cracks- checkering is nice yet - some varnish loss- factory red pad. Light weight and powerful- packs a punch. Need FFL and certified funds for immed shipment- business and personal checks wait a week to clear. Sorry no credit cards anymore- same location northern wisconsin 37 years.
