This piece represents the era’s attention to detail and the enduring appeal of a well-made side-by-side in 16 gauge, balanced for field performance. This particular Belgium-made example, dating to 1924, features 28" barrels and 2 3/4" chambers in 16 Ga with an overall length of 44 1/2". It has a boxlock-like arrangement with a side-by-side action, a straight English stock, and a neutral cast. The chokes are L: 13/500 IM and R: 3/200 Mod, with a solid rib that tapers from 13 mm to 8 1/2 mm.
