Serial No. 3341y, manufactured 1943, 24" round barrel, 8mm Mauser. This example of the Karabiner 98k was produced in 1943 under the factory code “BCD", indicating manufacture at Gustloff Werke, one of the primary wartimes K98k producers. The receiver is correctly marked “BCD / 43", denoting both factory and year of production. Serial numbers are matching, excluding the stock and barrel band. Waffenamt military acceptance stamps remain visible on both the barrel and receiver. The metal finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina, showing honest wear from service use. The laminated stock is in very good condition, showing only light handling marks and minor field wear. The action is smooth and functions correctly, making this a solid representative of a mid-war German infantry rifle. (L2025-10936)
