Description:
Late 70's Smith & Wesson Mod. 28-2 Highway Patrolman, Mint Condition with Box. This revolver has seen little, if any, use since it was made in the late 1970's. Designed by Smith as a heavy duty type revolver mainly for police service the 28-2 was used extensively in that role. That's another reason this revolver is in remarkable condition. This N frame revolver is seriously overbuilt for the .357 Magnum cartridge! The box is empty except for the oil paper wrapping and missing the label. The box appears to be the correct type for this era but is completely unmarked as you can see in the pictures. Again the revolver is in near mint condition! Price is $950 plus shipping and insurance, CC + 3.5% bank fee.
