This Rogers ansd Spencer appears to have spent it's life in an attic trunk as the estate said it did.
This one of 5300 ever made U. S. Pistol appears to have retained about 80-90% of the original factory finish.
The bulk if the loss is on the barrel from age flaking. the rest of the gun shows some ageing and slight sharp edge silvering.
All numbers match and the left grip panel has the easily visible Inspector's Cartouche,
The bore is bright with well defined rifialing and a slight scattered frost.mist
The grips have retained about 85-90% 0f the original lacquer .
