About Us: I am a private individual gradually selling off my collection. I prefer to sell each firearm myself instead of leaving it to the whims of an auuction. I will be listing rifles, shotguns, old, modern, some NIB, and some that are rare. In purchasing from me, you are dealing with the actual owner and not a dealer who has no familiarity with the firearm. I have owned these firearms for anywhere from a year and a half, to several decades. When purchasing from me, there will be no surprise needed repairs. Without my own FFL, I have to ship by US Postal. I ship Priority but they are very slow these days. Expect the firearm to be in transit for up to 2 weeks.

Description:
32" Barrels. Exposed Hammers. Damascus. Serial #2633. A fair amount of engraving. There have been a few of these on Gun broke her, all much higher than my price, and none as nice as mine. Bores were video-scope inspected by a trustworthy gunsmith I use, and he says the barrels are good to go, just stick with the black powder rounds it was built for. I make my own black powder rounds and the gun works fine. I've only put 10 rounds through it but it hasn't given me any operational issues. There is a fraction of side-rock to the closed action, but that is common to the old side swing guns and it locks positively otherwise. Outer metal has grey to brown patina. Some wear on the engraving on the trigger guard. Bores are shiny and in good shape but have some expected light pitting patches here and there throughout the length, as is typical to firearms pushing 140 years old. The stain has darkened and the wood has handling marks, but no gouges, and no cracks except one short one (3/4") that is in the far pointed end of the forehand wood, which isn't a spot that is subject to shock from recoil so it must be a natural dry crack and so should be a non-issue. I will provide lots of hi-res photos and a video clip of the firearm in operation to any SERIOUS buyer. Terms are as per this Description section and our correspondence. Cash only for Local sale. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Neb. Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID, just like it's done at most auuctions/shows. Neb. Concealed Carry Permit works as well. If you are from out of state but can make the drive, there is an FFL in Lincoln that will do the transfer for 25 bucks. I will ship to an FFL. Since I myself do not have an FFL, I will need to ship to an FFL to any out of state buyer regardless that this firearm is possibly exempt due to being antique. If you do not have your own FFL you must contact your FFL provider and ensure that they will accept firearms that come from a private individual like me that does not have an FFL. I can provide them a copy of my ID. I will also need contact info for your receiving FFL so that I can arrange shipping with them. Payment for the firearm and shipping combined is by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY. Shipping is to only the lower 48 and due to length and weight of this gun is 75 dollars.
