The Winchester Model 23 was introduced in 1978 and continued in production until 1986 when it was discontinued. This Model 23 XTR Pigeon Grade features a round knob half pistol grip, 28 inch barrels, single selective trigger, beavertail fore end and coin finished frame with scroll engraving. A standout feature of the Winchester Model 23 XTR Pigeon Grade is its boxlock action, known for its durability and strength. This example is still in good shape and has a nice finish showing normal wear. 12 Gauge
