Description:
1966 Belgium Browning Superposed Lighting O/U shotgun chambered in 12 gauge for 2 3/4" shells. This example has 30" barrels with a Broadway rib, ejectors, and fixed chokes "Top * - FULL" and "Bottom *- - IMP MOD". The front sight is a white bead in a base at the front of the rib and there is a smaller white mid-bead. The left top barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY". The right barrel is marked "12 GA - SHELLS 2 3/4" - MADE IN BELGIUM - BROWNING PATENT". The bottom of the receiver is marked "Lightning / BROWNING" with a bust portrait of John Browning. The receiver has Grade 1 engraving and a manual top tang safety / barrel selector. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a pistol grip, straight comb, and a rubber Browning ventilated recoil pad. Stock measurements (DC - 1 1/4", DH - 1 5/8) with a neutral cast. 12 Gauge

Metal Condition: "Light finish wear on the bottom receiver edges, top lever edge, and a few fine dings marks on the edge of the top rib. The bottom tang is missing most of its finish.
Wood Condition: The stock has a few minor scattered marks and rates about 98% overall. No cracks.
Bore Condition: Bright bores. No damage.
Barrels: 30" barrels.
Triggers: Single gold trigger.
