Description:
Up for sale is a Browning Superposed 20 Gauge made in 1961 with 26" barrels choked Skeet/Skeet. This gun does show wear but locks up and functions perfectly with lever well to the right. The gun has edge finish wear with light freckling and one 3/8" spot of missing finish on the right side of the receiver. This superposed pistol grip stock has a LOP of 14 3/8" to an original Browning recoil pad and sports a beavertail forend. The wood shows multiple knicks and scratches but no cracks or significant gouges. The gun weighs in at 6lb 8oz. In 2023 this shotgun was sent to Arts Gun Shop for disassembly and inspection. Arts disassembled, clean, lubricated, and serviced the gun. Arts also verified that this shotgun was NOT manufactured with worrisome salt wood.
This superposed is an excellent example that its owner wouldn't hesitate to carry afield or to the skeet course. It points and swings beautifully and would also suit a youth or person of smaller stature very well.
