Payment Types Accepted: Description: This M1 Carbine is completly original from the factory with no import marks. All parts are marked SG and barrel is marked: Saginaw - Division of General Motors. Date of Manufacture is somewhere in early 1942. The sure fire way to know if a Saginaw is authentic is no barrel band and bayonet lug. These were only factory installed after late 1944 when only the Inland & Winchester factories were still producing the M1 Carbine. If it is an original factory Sagiaw that has not been re-arsenaled, there will be none installed. All Carbine's that went for re-arsenal had the barrel band and bayonet lug intalled then. This was the so-called M3 part. It is in very good condition as can be seen in picures. Bore is very good. Operates smoothly as it should. Incleded are what is shown. Sling, oiler, US marked Carbine carry case, butt stock magazine pouch, 2 original 15 round magazines, 1 marked MH and 1 marked BW. 1 bandolier with 80 rounds of ammo in clips in the orginal cardboard sleeves.
