Rare R.J. Braverman Corp. \"Stinger\" Pen Gun chambered in .22 LR. Manufactured in the mid-1990s, the Stinger is significant because it was ingeniously designed to be a single-shot handgun that did not fall under NFA \"Any Other Weapon\" regulations due to its need to be manually folded into a firing position. This makes it a highly sought-after collector piece recognized for its unique, innovative design.
The Stinger is constructed entirely of durable stainless steel and features a nominal 2-inch barrel. When in its closed, non-firing configuration, it closely resembles an oversized fountain pen. The firearm includes its original factory nylon pouch, which features the distinctive \"STINGER\" logo. The factory original pouch shows some wear on the sewn in leather patch but is fully intact. Markings on the pen-gun clearly identify the manufacturer as R.J. Braverman Corp. of Meredith, NH making this a very rare 3 year production variant made from 1995-1997.
The stainless steel finish is bright and free of any significant signs of handling or use (only notable mark is where the pocket-clip rests on the metal). The action and mechanism are very good and seem to function flawlessly but we have never fired the weapon. As production was limited, the Stinger Pen Gun is a highly desirable novelty firearm. An outstanding addition to any advanced collection of unique & historically significant firearms.
