Glock G21 Gen 2 – Austria – 45 ACP – 4.6" Barrel – 13+1
Glock 21 pistols have always been one of our favorite 45 ACP platforms. They deliver the power of the 45 caliber round but with extremely modest recoil. Add in the 13 round magazine and you’ve got a winner of a pistol. The pistol that we have here on consignment is a Gen 2 model and was manufactured in May, 1991. Serial number is UZ735 and all three serial numbers match.
One complaint about the Gen 2 Glocks is that they were “slippery when wet". This pistol has that problem solved as it has customer stippled grips. You won’t lose your grip on this one and the texture, while aggressive, is still pleasant to hold.
As with all Mode 21 pistols, the barrel is 4.6" in length. Front and rear sights are standard Glock sights and the pistol appears to be a factory model as well.
Our belief is that this pistol likely spent a fair amount of time in a holster but doesn’t appear to have been fired much. The slide shows moderate wear, primarily on the left side of the slide. The top of the barrel lug, however, shows very little finish loss. The barrel is also indicative of a low round count.
The bore on this pistol is clean, the barrel is bright and the rifling appears strong. The recoil spring remains strong. The grips on in Very Good condition. We mentioned the slide before and we’d grade it as Good. The frame does show some scuffs and wear but nothing beyond what we’d expect.
Overall, we think that this is a very solid Glock 21. There may be some cosmetic blemishes but, mechanically, we believe the pistol to be very solid and a great option.
Purchase includes the pistol and (1) 13 round magazine. No other accessories are included in the sale.
