Originally manufactured as a Colt Government and then customized by the American Historical Foundation for the 50th Anniversary of World War II, specifically Victory in the Pacific Theater. 5" barrel chambered in .45 ACP with standard sights. Blued finish with plastic faux ivory grips. Left side of slide is marked "IN HONOR OF VICTORY IN THE PACIFIC / ** 15 AUGUST 1945 **". Left grip panel is stamped with Japanese motifs and Macarthur quote "LET US PRAY / THAT PEACE BE NOW / RESTORED ... THESE / PROCEEDINGS ARE CLOSED". Complete with display case. Also comes with a blue hard plastic Colt case. Finish is very good with pistol showing no wear. A nice collectors piece. .45 Auto
