Marlin celebrated their 100 year anniversary in 1970 by making this special edition limited-production Model 39 called the "Model 39 Century Ltd.". This beautiful .22 rimfire lever-action features a gloss blue factory finish and gold finished trigger, a brass 1870 to 1970 badge with the Marlin mounted cowboy on the receiver, a brass plaque on the buttstock with the model name and occassion engraved on it, a 20" inch octagon barrel with factory iron sights, and a deluxe Walnut stock set with a polished brass buttplate and forend cap. It is a very attractive and classy special edition Model 39. All vintage Marlin Model 39's have been increasing in value over the last few years in particular, and this limited production model (1 year) is no exception. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
