Very scarce Husqvarna Model 4100 lightweight rifle in .243 Winchester caliber. S/N 209192 with matching # bolt.
21” slim contour barrel. The bore is excellent. Mechanical functions are all excellent.
Beautiful condition showing 98% Blue and Varnish with no notable marks.
One of my all time favorites, this particular era of Swedish made Husqvarna rifles are among the most perfectly balanced and greatest shouldering sporting rifles ever produced, and have certain characteristics that reign supreme over all others of this make that may look similar but are not. These are very high quality, combining master craftsmanship with a well proven HVA Mauser type action with robust claw extractor, have better wood with graceful stock lines that feature a schnabel fore-end tip and pancake style cheekpiece, high quality cut checkering (including the forearm panels), and better quality sights.
Original sights are included, with the rear sight elevator having been replaced.
Good examples of these rifles are very hard to find, especially in .243, and they simply can not be beat for the money.
