This nearly new Russian Izhmach Izhevsk Tiger Sniper Rifle is a commercial pre-1994 ban version of the SVD Dragunov Rifle as developed by Yevgeny Dragunov, as an elegant upgrade to the SVT 40 in 1958. Equipped with correct PO 4x24-01 scope mounted on side rail, spare magazine, canvas scope cover, canvas sling, cleaning rod/associated kit, sight pushing tool, sight charging cable, instruction manual. An incredible and no longer importable ensemble!

Description:

Standard configuration Russian Izhmach / Izhevsk Tiger Sniper Rifle, cal: 7.62x54mm with hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graded 1-12. PO 4x24-01 scope #01922 mounted on left side rail. The left side of the receiver is marked “0226 OF 1000” “CALIFORNIA/ARMORY, INC./SAN BRUNO, CA USA” while the right side of the receiver is marked “IZHMACH/IZHEVSK” “TIGER/CAL 7.62X54/RUSSIA” "1993" and the SN: 34099. Full serial number repeated on the bolt with the last 3 digits repeated on safety lever, floorplate, and gas tube. "0226" marked under flash suppressor/bayonet lug. Fitted with a plastic forearm, and laminate thumbhole pistol grip stock with cushioned cheek piece. Accessories include generic black plastic case, cleaning kit, an extra magazine, scope accessories, canvas scope cover, sling, small parts., and literature. No shipping box.

Condition:

Fantastic 98-99% crisp original matte blued/black painted finish with comparable condition scope, crisp optics, and supple caps. Illumination untested. Same impeccable condition applies to forearm, buttstock/cheekpiece, and accessories. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
