It has the Lightning style forend and Semi pistol grip stock of straight grain walnut to lighten wgt., it weighing 7 lbs. 1 oz. with a very professionally installed leather covered pad giving it a 15" LOP from the Rear trigger position (or 16" from the front). The drop at comb is 1 5/8" and at heel is 2 5/8" with 1/4" cast off for the right hand. It has the last single trigger design that selects from the top safety button, same as postwar guns until 1974. It also has a triggerguard engraved inscription from the Westinghouse Corp. Feb. 1,1938; probably a retirement gift. This gun is tight to open and close, so doesn't appear to have been used much as guard blueing isn't worn, unlike most skeet guns you find. All in all, a hard to find prewar Skeet in excellent condition.
