Sako Forester .243 Winchester. Imported by Garcia, serial 100433 has a 23-inch barrel (.650 muzzle diameter, no provision for open sights). Features include a polished blue finish, integral dovetails, checkered bolt knob and an etched floorplate. The stock has a rosewood forend tip, skipline checkering, rosewood grip cap with inlay, factory recoil pad, sling loops (1.15 inches) and a gloss finish. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 8.6 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.55 inches. No box or papers. OPTIC: A Leupold Vari-X II 2-7X (gloss finish, Duplex reticle) is mounted in factory rings (low). Optics are clear and lens coatings strong. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Metal finish is at least 95 percent and wood at least 90 percent with a small chip on the border of the grip cap. The price is firm. $1,250 plus shipping.
