Glock G22 Gen 2 Austria – 40S&W – 4.5" Barrel – 10+1
Glock 22 pistols, much like the Glock 17, have a history as full-sized duty weapons. Rugged, reliable and shooting the more powerful 40S&W cartridge, these pistols were used by a number of law enforcement agencies across the United States. Our pistol (serial number RX734) is an Austrian model that was manufactured in November, 1990. All three serial numbers on the pistol match.
The barrel is 4.5 inches in length and features standard Glock model sights. We believe the trigger to be standard as well. The pistol currently has a 10 round magazine included but it will, of course, accept 15 round magazines as well.
A neoprene sleeve with finger grooves is currently on the grip. The bore on this pistol is clean, the barrel is really bright and the rifling is strong. The slide has slight scuffing on both sides. Please see the attached photos. The top of the barrel lug does not show wear, which leads us to believe that this pistol has seen limited use.
If you’re a fan of the more vintage Glocks and would like something beefier than the 9mm round, a Glock 22 may be exactly what you’re after.
Purchase is for the pistol and (1) 10 round magazine. No other items or accessories are included.
This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report.
