"Serial No. 1908, manufactured circa 1916 by the Eddystone Rifle Arsenal (E.R.A.), .303 British, 26" round barrel. Serial numbers are matching on the bolt and receiver. Metal finish has thinned to a uniform dull grey patina, while the stock displays expected handling and usage wear consistent with wartime service. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid and representative example of the Eddystone Pattern 1914, one of the key British service rifles produced in America during the First World War.
