William Powell & Sons best quality SLE. Made in 1897, Replacement English barrels, made in 1956, has Dolls Head extensions. Deeley ejectors work properly, E. Chilton Locks in excelldent condition. Twin triggers working fine, 28" barrels, smooth concave rib, 2 1/2" chambers, Bore .729 both barrels, minimum walls .027, chokes left barrel .012, Right barrel .005. Perfect bores, barrel blue 95%, no case colors remain, all screws excellent. Full coverage rose and scroll engraving, all sharp. Stock and Forearm 90%, checkering very good. 1 3/8 x 2 3/8 x 15 1/4 nuetral cast to checkered Butt. Inletting excellent. NO oil soak. 6 lbs 7 oz perfect ballance. SERIAL # 10413.
Comes with a period Willian Powell case. Original case label & shot charge. Has brass corners. Hinge in excellent condition. All Stitching solid, has new English made straps, Exterior leather is very good for it's age. No tears, has new relined interior with Antique William Powell Snap Caps, Oil Bottle and Ebony 2 pice cleaning rod. Has spare strikers in horn canister. Fitted horn turnscrew for looks, ebony antique chamber brush, Serial # 10116
