Description: The Ruger® SR1911® is an improved version of the original M1911 sidearm used by the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. This iteration is made of high quality stainless steel, with a superior slide-to-frame fit. The frame and slide are finished with a low-glare bead-blasted finish, and the slide is serrated to provide a positive grip. To increase accuracy, it features a lightweight, aluminum skeletonized trigger, with an adjustable over-travel stop. The trigger pull is light and crisp with no creep, and has a very short reset. The Ruger 1911 has an oversized beavertail grip safety, and an extended thumb safety and slide stop lever. Fit and finish on this one is great, with no wear marks or damage.
