"Serial No. 4752964, manufactured in 1944, .30-06 Springfield, 24" round barrel marked “S.C. / Flaming Bomb / 6-43." Rifle remains in near excellent overall condition, showing only light handling impressions and minor staining on the stock. A handsome “F.J.A. – Ordnance Wheel" cartouche is clearly visible on the left side. Action is smooth and functions correctly. An exceptional example of a Smith-Corona–produced Model 03-A3, representing one of the finest wartime bolt-action rifles manufactured under U.S. contract during World War II.
