Metal finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina, while the stock exhibits expected handling marks from wartime use. Action is smooth and functions correctly. An honest and well-preserved example of a WWI British SMLE No. I Mk. III, as carried by Commonwealth forces throughout the Great War.
