**RARE & FINE** MAUSER 66 mfg in 1967 in the excellent 7x64 Brenneke(Seldom seen in this rifle.) cartridge.(Nearly identical ballistically to the 280 Remington). All Original with matching numbers. Double Set Triggers. 23" barrel with sights and like new bore. Appears fired very little. Metal is 97-98% with a few fine scratches on barrel.. The barrel blueing has turned plummish color as seen in photos. The European walnut stock with Bavarian cheekpiece and rosewood foretip and grip cap with ivory inlay, I would rate 90% + as there are some light handling and usage marks. NO Cracks. Has original and typical 3/4" European fixed swivels with front on barrel band. This superb rifle is equipped with classic German quick release claw mounts of precise quality for repeatable accuracy and hold a KAHLES Helia Supra 3x9x42mm with German #4 Reticle. Scope is clear but does have a bit of a yellowish hue to it. For those not familiar with the Mauser 66/660 Rifles, they have the feature of barrel interchangability and the Unique telescoping bolt design making the action and overall rifle length shorter. These rifles are true to classic German craftsmenship and engineering. This particular rifle was imported by Champlin Firearms in Enid, OK .
