Very sharp and quite scarce Husqvarna Model 456 Mannlicher stocked 30-06 bolt action rifle with factory scope.
S/N 228762A
98% condition on metal and wood with the barreled action and bottom metal having been lightly refinished.
Comes with a mounted Husqvarna Hakko 200 4x32mm scope with adjustable objective which remains vividly clear and bright with a standard duplex reticle.
The bore and mechanical functions are all outstanding. The stock is factory cross pinned above the trigger guard.
These are very high quality, affordable, and wonderful handling rifles made during the premiere era of the Husqvarna line. They have special features such as deluxe cut checkering and a pancake cheekpiece. They shoulder and point like a dream and are very lightweight at about 6.5 lbs. clean or in this case, a bit more with the scope. Combined with their quality made Swedish HVA Mauser 98 patterned action, they are simply great performing rifles and in my mind far superior to anything that can be bought today for a similar price.
