Description:
These handy little carbines were lst introduced in 1964 and ran to 1968 with some variations contining into the 70s. Distinguised byt the L shapped bolt (a little roughness easily cleaned up where the bolt turns down into the stock), the ventalted rib and 3/4 length stock.. This on is in good but not excellent conditon with handling and hunting marks normal for a 60 yr old gun. Rear site has been removed to make room for scope clearance (it came to us without the scope) These sights are readily avail on ebay and other places. On the left side of the butt stock taped on is a drop table for ranges our to 500 yrds so guressing this was a shooter. The rib is intact and not (these get brittle with age and are most often found broken) and the "floor plate" is not warped and sits flush with the stock...most often these are warped. Nice clean trigger...a terrific little varmint gun at 36 or so inches with an 18" barrel easy to keep in the truck, tractor or UTV WE ALSO HAVE ITS TWIN IN .308...SEE SELLERS OTHER ITEMS.
