From a Midwest sale, a Sako Model L579 custom target/varmint rifle 22 Durham Jet caliber. I am not an expert but at the sale they said a 22 Durham Jet is a 243 case necked down to 22 caliber. Butter smooth Sako action with four round internal drop plate magazine. 24" Premium fluted heavy barrel with a bright and shiny bore. Beautiful fine line checkered high grade straight grained stock with right hand cheek piece and flat forend (see photos). The stock is fitted with a Sako butt plate, all in excellent condition (a few very light pressure dents....see photos). The double set triggers are set for an amazingly light trigger pull. Barrel and receiver are unblemished and have a deep blue finish. Made to accept Sako rings, but no scope or rings came with the rifle. This beautiful rifle appears to have been shot very little and looks brand new; therefore, I'm offering this rifle with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
