Very rare original 1903 Springfield Air Service Magazine in original box. Condition of magazine is unblemished and excellent.(see pictures) Box is a little worn. Item is complete with all parts present. Proof-mark present in lower corner. Any “marks” seen in pictures is actually original packing grease. This magazine was original designed for the periscope rifle. See pages 217-218 of the "Springfield 1903 Rifle" by Brophy which shows the mag attached to the Air Service rifle. See also pages 76-78.
