Winchester Model 12 - 16 Ga. Takedown - Pump Shotgun - Smooth walnut pistol grip style stock and a grooved forend with butt plate. 28 In. long full choke special steel barrel with front bead sight. 6 round capacity tubular magazine. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% original bluing. Stock and forend handle are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Internal parts are like new. This shotgun has had very little use. Overall condition is excellent. Includes a new soft sleeve. Designed by T.C. Johnson the model 12 was used in WWI , WWII, Korea and Vietnam . It was offered in a variety of configurations . It has the same Slam Fire feature as the model 97 . Fewer 16 Ga. were manufactured then the 12 ga. This one was manufactured in 1960. Collector quality.
