FN FNX-45 Tactical – 45ACP – 5.3" Threaded Barrel – WITH Trijicon RMR Optic
There are a lot of reasons to own a FNX-45 Tactical. It’s chambered in the powerful 45 ACP caliber, it comes with a threaded barrel, it has suppressor height sights to go with that threaded barrel, it holds 15 rounds of 45 ACP and it’s optics ready. That’s a pretty good list but we’ll add one more reason to own the FNX-45 Tactical that we have here on consignment . . . it already has a high quality Trijicon RMR red dot mounted on it!
Just to go back over the specs on this pistol, it has a 5.3 inch threaded barrel. The thread pitch is .578x28. A thread protector is on the pistol now, just waiting for you to add the suppressor of your choice. The pistol is both single action and double action. An ambi safety with decocker sits at the rear of the slide. Each magazine (and you get a total of 4) holds 15 rounds.
The owner of this one says that he has owned it for about 3 years and has fired approximately 500 rounds through it.
The suppressor height sights doe have tritium night sight inserts but we don’t see strong glow from them. The bore is clean, the barrel is bright and the rifling appears to be strong. The DA trigger pull is long and feels like a normal double action trigger. The single action trigger is light and smooth. The grips are in Fair – Good condition and show signs of use. The slide and frame are in Very Good condition and have no noticeable defects. Overall, the pistol is in Good – Very Good condition.
The red dot is a Trijicon RMR Type 2, model RM06. The dot is 3.25 MOA. The dot is crisp and clear, the controls function normally and the exterior looks good as well. If you’ve looked at Trijicon dots, you already know that they are great quality optics, but they aren’t inexpensive.
This is a very nice, complete package and it’s ready to go. Take a good look and see if it’s the one that you were after!
Purchase includes the pistol, (4) 15 round magazines, FN range bag, Trijicon RMR red dot, FN owner’s manual, Trijicon owner’s manual, additional backstraps and original optic plate cover.
