"Serial No. 4992675, manufactured in 1943, .30-06 Springfield, 24" round barrel marked “R.A./Flaming Bomb/12-43." Rifle remains in very good overall condition, showing light handling impressions consistent with careful use. Equipped with an original M73B1 Weaver scope featuring clear optics, mounted on REDFIELD-marked bases. Stock is very good with minimal handling wear and displays a handsome “R.I.A./E.B." cartouche at the butt. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle includes a period-dated leather sling. An excellent and complete example of a wartime-issued Remington 03-A4 sniper rifle, representative of America’s precision arms of WWII.
