This is a great looking carbine that retains 95-97% of an overall reblued finish, with some touches of pinprick pitting on the left side of the receiver across the still clear and crisp markings. The bolt has the correct knurled, cylindrical cocking-piece, and has an armory bright finish along the body with further added blue on the handle. It has a trapdoor buttplate with a spot for a 3 piece cleaning rod. The walnut stock and straight contoured handguard are refinished to very good shape with numerous minor handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the reapplied military oil finish. A still legible "ISA / 1901" cartouche is present on the left side of the wrist and a correct front sight hood is pinned to the barrel. This is a nice late-production Krag, and rates very good overall. FFL or C&R; Price: $1,095.00 Curio/Relic: Yes |
