Yes, It is an original 1858 Remington, It has been completely refinished and has had an 10 inch barrel added. The grips have been re-manufactured using the original screw and escutcheons. If you look closely you can see hints of some original inspectors marks. The top of the barrel has been hand stamped with the Remington Patented dates and address. The bore is bright and shinny with very strong rifling.
