Description:
Red Velvet lined presentation case for a Colt percussion 1851 Navy, 1861 Navy Or 1860 Army. Accoutremonts included are:
W5045 1851 Navy Bullet Mold - 36 caliber.
Designed with two cavities for molding both round balls and conical bullets.
Brass two piece straight leg body. Two line "Colt's Patent
is stamped between the hinge pin and the funnel on the color case hardened steel sprue cutter. The slotted area of the sprue cutter is rounded at the end. No other markings are stamped on this bullet mold. This mold was issued for both "C" Series and "F" Series 1851 Navy revolvers.
W5047 Second generation medium sized powder flask with a “Stand of Flags” behind a carriage mounted cannon. The top left is the Lone Star flag of Texas. The remaining are all U.S. battle flags. To the right and left and below the flags are pikes and naval anchors. Below are cannon balls, a ramrod, and Bowie knife. Above the stand of flags are 2 crossed rifles over 2 crossed revolvers-all pointing upward. Between the revolvers and flags, “COLTS PATENT” is embossed in 2 lines. This pattern appears only on one side of the flask.
Early "C" Series 1851 Navy wrench that has the lustrous Royal Blue finish. The shoulder to the nipple wrench shaft is also gently tapered. This style of wrench was designed for early Model "C" 1121 and "C"1131 Colt Second Generation Percussion Revolvers. They were also issued with the R. E. Lee and U. S. Grant Commemoratives as well as the Grant-Lee Matched Pair. They command a higher price.
