Description:
This is a very nice used Smith & Wesson Model M&P 340 revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The SKU# is 103072 which is on the California Approved Roster. This is the more desirable no-lock model that comes without the internal lock. Comes with the original box and spent casing. This is the pinnacle of J-Frame 5 shot revolvers. The scandium alloy frame is very lightweight and this model is very durable as it comes with a steel cylinder. Can fire .357 Magnum or .38 Special without issue. Gun and action is nice and tight with good lockup. Barrel is in great condition with sharp crisp rifling. This model also comes with the XS big dot site which is my favorite site on the J-Frame smiths, very big and easy to see; also has a deeper site notch than most standard S&W J-Frame revolvers, I bought this gun brand new and have carried it a few times but it honestly hasn't been fired a whole lot. I've probably put 500-1000 rounds through it since new, but most likely on the lower side. This revolver is very close to mint and shows minimal use. The finish looks great and there are only very faint marks on the cylinder where it rotates. Overall this is just an excellent little revolver and a great carry gun for maximum concealment. And the .357 Magnum packs a wollop!
