"Serial No. 42255, manufactured in 1941, 7.62x54R, 27" round barrel. Right side of the receiver is import marked. Serial numbers on the bolt, receiver, and magazine floor plate are matching. Metal finish has thinned to a light grey patina along the high edges, consistent with field service wear. The stock shows light handling impressions and usage marks, typical of Finnish wartime refurbishment. Action is smooth and functions correctly. An excellent representative example of a Finnish VKT M38.
