Description:
This is a US M1898 Canteen in good condition with many dents and lots of field use. The blue green covering has some splits on edge with loose stitching again well worn with some signs of thread bare areas. No apparent marking remain. The stopper appears original but I believe the cork has been replaced. The cavalry strap is in very good condition made of heavy bridle leather, still pliable minimal cracking with a fine snap.;
