An Early Civil War U.S. Navy Inspected "FCW" On The Frame Whitney Percussion Navy Revolver In Very Good Untouched Condition. Serial #23,395, all matching numbers. All original and complete. The revolver has nice untouched metal and markings with very good edges throughout. It has a good barrel address, and "FCW" Navy Inspector markings on the frame. FCW stands for "Franklin C. Warner" who worked as a Navy Inspector  at the "Washington Navy Yard". He Inspected many different pistols, muskets, and rifles. All screws are very good on the pistol. All of the metal on the revolver has a natural gray to brown darkening patina throughout it. The brass trigger guard is nice and untouched. The grips are very good and full with a nice darkening color to them. The revolver has a very good action and bore in it.
