Description:
Exhibition Grade California English walnut rifle blank. This quarter sawn blank has exceptional streaking figure, contrast, and color. Perfect for a light rifle or it could also make an exceptional two piece stock. Originally purchased Stephen Heilman this blank was cut in 1999 and has been hanging in the foothills of Golden, CO since I purchased it in 2002 and is ready to be turned into a high grade rifle stock. Of note, the blank has a small crack at the edge of where the heel of the butt would be. Thie crack has not grown or moved in the past 26 years and should have no effect on the finished stock. The blank measures 33 1/2"long x 6" at the butt x 2 1/8" thick. Sale is final.
