This is a 1945-dated, Carl Gustav-made rifle and retains 92-95% of the original blue finish on the barrel, receiver, and matching numbered bolt, which has faded slightly at the muzzle as well as on the projecting edges and bearing surfaces. There is a small and unobtrusive importer's stamp on the barrel ahead of the nosecap. The bolt carrier and magazine retain a commensurate amount of an applied black finish, similar to British Suncorite, that has flaked and worn to the underlying gray metal on the edges and bearing surfaces. The beech wood stock and handguard have a few light handling marks and blemishes scattered about the otherwise excellent varnish finish and the original brass armory disk is still present on the right side of the buttstock (it has a single arrow stamp denoting nominal 6.48mm bore diameter). The rifle is in excellent condition and comes with a single original magazine, leather sling, and cleaning rod. This is a great example of an innovative design that fires a supremely accurate round.
