Description:
The Winchester Model 1907 and 1910 were blowback operated semi automatic carbines, designed shortly after the turn of the century. Their usage of moderately powerful centerfire cartridges and compact size immediately made them popular amongst law enforcement and sportsmen alike, with some contracts even going to various military organizations. This example of an early production model 1907 is in very good overall condition, with moderate wear and has been furnished with a tang mounted peep sight and extended 10 shot magazine. It was a known issue amongst these rifles that the stocks and forends were rather fragile and as such there are some repaired cracks visible in the forend and a small crack forming in the head of the stock. Also notable is that the initials G.G.R are carved in the stock.
