To begin with, all parts match and there are no import marks.
The original blue remainlng finish is at least 90-95%.
The little loss lthere is, is due primarily to surface flaking on the butt plate andgeneral handling.
However, there are there are no real pits or rust patches.
The stock is also really fine,retainlng about 95+% of the original factory lacaquer.
The pics will show just several surface nicks and d, no spits or pieces missing.
The bore is oustanding, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling with a slight whisp of frost.
You would hard pressed to find a nicer wartime DOT k-98 any where near this price.
