Metal finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina, indicative of arsenal reconditioning for WWII reissue. Stock displays expected handling and usage marks consistent with service use across two major conflicts. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A historically significant example of a Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903, reissued and updated for continued service during the Second World War.
