Description:
This is an original tin Percussion caps, 100 count tin, labeled "Military" manufactured by Eley Brothers, London labeled as "Contractors TO THE WAR DEPARTMENT". They are identified as being specifically for the Snider rifle and other similar arms. The tin has an embossed lid "ELEY LONDON" with a red paper side label that is virtually all intact with several very small pieces missing. The tin appears about full with original caps. A scarce item to pair with your early to mid 19th century British Rifle.
